You can switch to Gmail version 1 by clicking on the link for the "Older Version" in the top right corner of the Gmail interface.I'm currently working on an update for version 2, but at this time it's still very spotty.JamesJames Mortensenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14761411429474089032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4210075784363570204.post-49924822449403954732008-05-11T15:42:00.000-07:002008-05-11T15:42:00.000-07:002008-05-11T15:42:00.000-07:00James, I also don't see a dropdown box on Google f...James, I also don't see a dropdown box on Google for my sigs. But I'm afraid I could use some help, please? No matter what I try, the drop-down menu to choose signatures does not appear in Gmail.I installed the extension (1.0.2.2). I went and learned just enough HTML to make a variety of decent signatures, (I'm a designer not a programmer ;)I tried:1) disabling the automatic signature in my Gmail settings Annahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18017345949569794406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4210075784363570204.post-85195419178667561672007-05-27T11:25:00.000-07:002007-05-27T11:25:00.000-07:002007-05-27T11:25:00.000-07:00I'm glad to hear you were successful in getting th...I'm glad to hear you were successful in getting the script to work. The Firefox Extension development is moving along at a moderate pace. I compiled the script using the Greasemonkey compiler. It didn't work right out of the box. I had to correct a bug in the auto-generated code. However, after fixing the bug, the signatures appeared flawlessly in the Gmail editor. So now I've been working on James Mortensenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14761411429474089032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4210075784363570204.post-73877787626614957652007-05-27T03:56:00.000-07:002007-05-27T03:56:00.000-07:002007-05-27T03:56:00.000-07:00Hi James,Thanks for helping me out. I'm glad to hear that the efforts of myself and the other individuals who developed the first Gmail Signatures script are solving a need for you.To answer your question, I tried using the 'font' and 'a' HTML tags and was only successful if I omitted quotations from the size and href attributes. Here is a working example:Code sample:var htmlsig3='<p>--<br><fontJames Mortensenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14761411429474089032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4210075784363570204.post-39160909163259437402007-05-25T12:55:00.000-07:002007-05-25T12:55:00.000-07:002007-05-25T12:55:00.000-07:00Hi James,First and foremost I must say that this i...Hi James,First and foremost I must say that this is a very useful script.
